The F1 Canopus hybrid has an upright plant structure. The leaves have a medium-green color, oval-rounded shape, medium size, and medium thickness of the leaf blade. The petioles are characterized by uniform length.

The variety possesses high resistance to bolting. The plant shows high resistance to downy mildew (Peronospora effusa) races 1–15, 17–19. The produce of the variety is characterized by high uniformity.
