Spinach COTTONMOUTH RZ F1 belongs to the semi-savoy type with an upright plant habit. The leaves are dark green in color and are distinguished by their thickness and round shape. The variety is characterized by slow development, high yield, and product uniformity.

The plant is intended for cultivation for baby leaves during the summer season. The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew Peronospora effusa races 1–7, 9, 11–18, 20 and intermediate resistance (IR) to races 8 and 10.
