The variety forms smooth and very thick dark green leaves, which have an oval-pointed shape. The plant is characterized by slow development and late bolting, which makes it suitable for cultivation during warm seasons.

The hybrid possesses high resistance to downy mildew Peronospora effusa, including races 1–6, 8–17 and 19.
