Dallas (F1) is a hybrid intended for the production of young leaves. The plant forms an upright rosette with dense, smooth, dark green leaves of a spatulate or oval shape. Due to the uniformity and shape of the leaves, the variety is suitable for mechanical harvesting.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races 1–18, 20) and intermediate resistance to white rust. It is intended for professional cultivation both in open field and in greenhouses, preferably during the cool period before winter. It is also known under the code designation PV-1513.
