The leaves of the variety have a semi-savoy shape, are round, and possess a glossy sheen. The variety belongs to the early-ripening group but is distinguished by slow growth and a tendency toward late bolting.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races 11, 16) and intermediate resistance to a number of other races. It is distinguished by good cold hardiness and high tolerance to heat.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption and cultivation using "baby-leaf" technology. It is adapted to various sowing dates, including the autumn-winter period, as well as sowing in late spring and summer.
