Variety LSPH20-0071 (El Waka) belongs to the mid-early maturity group. The plant has an upright habit, which facilitates mechanized harvesting and reduces the risk of leaf contamination through contact with the soil. The leaves are dark green, oval, smooth, and characterized by a dense structure resistant to damage during transport and processing.
The variety shows high resistance to leaf spot (Stemphylium vesicarium) and spinach downy mildew (Peronospora effusa, races 1–20). Intended for cultivation in the open field during the spring-autumn periods. Used for obtaining bunch products, sale in the baby-spinach segment, and for industrial processing.
