The variety has the breeding identification number LDSP981 and is intended for cultivation in the open field during spring and autumn periods. The leaves are of the semi-savoy type and have a round-oval shape.
The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew Peronospora farinosa f.sp. spinaciae (races 1–6, 8–17, 19–20), intermediate resistance (IR) to race Pe: 7, and resistance to spinach mosaic virus.
