The variety is intended for professional vegetable growing and research purposes. In agrotechnical studies, it serves as a comparative standard for studying pathogens, specifically spinach downy mildew (Peronospora effusa).

This hybrid demonstrates resistance to certain races of downy mildew, including race Pfs: 8. When sown in spring, the variety is characterized by medium dates for the onset of bolting.
