The Fluorite variety belongs to the "semi-savoy" type and is intended for growing young greens in the "baby-leaf" segment. The plant forms an upright rosette of leaves that possess good texture.
This hybrid is characterized by high resistance (HR) to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora effusa) races 1–18, and also, according to a number of specifications, to race 20 of the disease. The variety is distinguished by stably high yields.
