The Freya F1 hybrid, also known by the designation SP 2914, belongs to the Spinacia oleracea crop. The plant forms very dark green, slightly crinkled leaves.
The variety is mid-early and intended for cultivation on an industrial scale, including baby leaf production. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to downy mildew races 1–11, 12, 13 and 15.
