The hybrid belongs to the smooth-leaf spinach type. It is characterized as a medium-fast growing variety adapted for cultivation under winter and transition season conditions.

The plant has high resistance (HR) to downy mildew of spinach (Peronospora effusa, races 1–16, 19, 20) and intermediate resistance (IR) to races 17 and 18 of this disease.
