The spinach hybrid Laredo, also known by the code PV-1514, possesses smooth, dark green leaves. It is specifically developed for professional cultivation to produce crops for the baby-leaf segment, including use in protected cultivation and high tunnels.
The plant demonstrates resistance to downy mildew covering races 1–17, with some reports indicating resistance to races 1–18 and 20. The variety is oriented toward commercial production for the fresh market and the needs of salad producers.
