The plant forms an upright rosette of oval or heart-shaped dark green leaves. The height of a mature plant is about 15–20 cm. The variety is an open-pollinated population variety.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to bolting, powdery mildew, and low temperatures. It is suitable for cultivation in open field conditions during both spring and autumn periods, allowing for the harvest to be extended by 2–4 weeks. The produce is suitable for fresh consumption and freezing.
