The variety is a baby spinach hybrid with breeding index PV-1664. The leaves are of a semi-savoy type with a characteristic light texture. The variety is distinguished by a crunchy structure and a size suitable for fresh consumption in ready-to-eat salads.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to downy mildew of spinach (Peronospora effusa) races 1–18, with resistance to race 20 mentioned in some data. The variety is characterized by high uniformity of leaf size and petiole length, which simplifies industrial processing and product packaging.
