The variety forms a spreading plant with smooth, triangular-shaped leaves. The leaf color is dark green; the color intensity is higher than in a number of other varieties, which is due to an increased content of chlorophyll.

The plant belongs to mid-late varieties. It possesses good resistance to high temperatures and is characterized by a delayed transition to the flowering phase (bolting).

The produce of this variety contains a significant amount of oxalates. The variety is suitable for industrial processing, including drying and freezing.
