Variety description

The plant forms an upright rosette with oval leaves. Long, firm petioles make the variety convenient for bunching and mechanized harvesting. The variety is characterized by high yield, good uniformity, and vigorous growth in cool weather with the ability to tolerate heat.
The variety possesses high resistance to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora effusa, races 1–20) and leaf spot caused by Stemphylium vesicarium. The produce is suitable for sale both at the mature plant stage and as "baby leaf."
