The Mandolin F1 variety is a hybrid intended for baby leaf production. The plant is characterized by a moderate growth rate and an upright leaf habit. The savoy or semi-savoy type leaves are dark green in color, have a glossy surface, and are round and spoon-shaped. The variety is distinguished by the thickness of the leaf blade and the ability to maintain its color at high temperatures.

The plant has high resistance to downy mildew races Pfs 1–12, 14–16, as well as to white rust. Due to its slow growth and stress tolerance, the variety is suitable for cultivation during the warm season.
