The variety is mid-early or mid-season, the period from emergence to technical maturity is 40–50 days. The plant has high cold hardiness, tolerates light frosts and is resistant to premature bolting under rising temperatures and dry conditions.

The leaf rosette is compact or upright, 13–19 cm in height. The leaves are large, dark green, dense and fleshy; in texture, they can be smooth, oval, savoyed or semi-savoyed.

The variety is of universal purpose, suitable for cultivation in open field, early spring, autumn and pre-winter sowings, as well as for container growing. The produce is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, canning and freezing.
