Minkar F1 variety belongs to mid-season hybrids with a moderate growth rate. The plant is characterized by late bolting, which is an important technological feature for professional production of produce intended for the fresh market.
The variety possesses pronounced resistance to downy mildew (Peronospora effusa), including races 1–19 and race 20. Trials also showed moderate resistance to Stemphylium leaf spot. Under winter cultivation conditions in unheated plastic greenhouses, the variety demonstrated specific seed germination characteristics.
