The variety Murena (breeding number XPH 1509) is a very early plant with a semi-upright bush type. The leaf blades are dark green and have a pronounced savoyed structure.

Due to its morphological features, the variety is suitable for mechanical harvesting and is intended for the fresh produce market. The plant possesses genetic resistance to downy mildew, expressed as resistance to races 1 and 2.
