The variety is a hybrid specifically created for the production of young greens and cultivation in the baby leaf segment. Externally, the plant is distinguished by smooth leaves.

The variety possesses resistance to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora farinosa f. sp. spinaciae), including races 1–15 and 17.
