Olivia F1 is a mid-early spinach hybrid with semi-curly leaves. The plant forms a sufficiently large rosette and demonstrates a high ripening speed, which allows it to be used both for the needs of the processing industry and for the sale of baby leaf type produce.
The variety is adapted for sowing in the autumn-winter period. The plant possesses resistance to downy mildew (Peronospora farinosa), including races Pfs 1–10, although in a number of cases the degree of resistance is assessed as medium.
