The variety, also known by the synonyms Winterreuzen and Olbrzym Zimowy OŻA, possesses vigorous growth. The plant's leaves are large, light green in color, and their surface can be either nearly smooth or slightly wavy, with a shape ranging from triangular-sagittate to other variations.

The plant possesses high resistance to freezing, which allows it to successfully overwinter in open field conditions. The variety has a low tendency for premature bolting. The leaves contain an increased amount of vitamin C and dry matter, and are suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, and freezing.
