The variety forms a compact, low-growing plant with a spreading growth habit. The leaves are colored a rich dark green and are distinguished by a pronounced blistered texture.
The plant possesses good resistance to cold, which allows it to be used for overwintering and autumn sowing with subsequent harvesting in the winter months. It belongs to the slow-bolting varieties, however, under summer heat conditions, it is prone to a rapid transition to flowering.
The variety is considered hardy and vigorous, intended for fresh consumption.
