The Robusto F1 variety belongs to the European type of spinach. The plant forms smooth or semi-savoy leaves suitable for the fresh-cut produce segment, which has undergone minimal processing and is ready for consumption.

A key feature of the hybrid is its high resistance to the downy mildew pathogen Peronospora farinosa f. sp. spinaciae. The variety demonstrates resistance to 1–12 races of this pathogen.
