The variety belongs to the group of plants with semi-savoyed and thick dark green leaves. The maturation period to technical ripeness is about 45 days. The variety possesses good winter hardiness, suitable for early spring harvest, but shows a tendency toward premature bolting.

The plant possesses complex resistance to downy mildew (races 1–4) and exhibits tolerance to white rust. The variety is intended for commercial production, suitable for sale in the fresh market and industrial processing.
