The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field. It is used both for the fresh produce market in the baby leaf segment and for industrial processing. It is oriented toward sowing in the spring and autumn periods.
The variety possesses complex resistance to downy mildew (Peronospora effusa) races 1–20. Resistance to Stemphylium vesicarium is also claimed.
