The early-maturing hybrid Santa Cruz F1 forms a compact plant with a short stem. Leaves have a saturated dark green color and a rounded or oval shape. Due to the strength of the structure, the stem is resistant to mechanical damage during bunching, which preserves the marketability of the product.

The plant possesses cold hardiness, which allows for early spring sowing, and also exhibits resistance to stress conditions and bolting. The variety is characterized by high genetic resistance to downy mildew (races 1–15, 17, 19).

The hybrid is universal in use: suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation, in demand on the fresh market, and suitable for processing, including freezing and canning.
