The Sheep variety demonstrates high relative resistance to Fusarium wilt caused by the pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. spinaciae. During testing, this sample showed a disease index of no more than 25%. The variety is also characterized by an absence of infection under research conditions for spinach downy mildew caused by Peronospora.

In open publications, there is no data on the maturity group, plant height, or commercial quality of the produce. The variety is considered primarily as an object for scientific testing and breeding work to improve crop characteristics.
