The variety SV1846VC belongs to the mid-late maturity group and is intended for use in baby-leaf format or for obtaining bunching production. The plant is distinguished by an upright habit, which simplifies mechanical harvesting, and has short leaf petioles.

The leaves are characterized by a dark green color, thick structure, and smooth surface, sometimes with slight blistering. The variety is distinguished by high uniformity, yield, and good tolerance to bolting.

The plant possesses high resistance to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora farinosa f. sp. spinaciae), including races 1–14 and 16. It is recommended for commercial production and the fresh market, in particular for cultivation in the early summer period.
