Tragopan RZ F1 is a hybrid with oval, smooth, dark green leaves. The upright orientation of the leaf rosette reduces the risk of damage during adverse weather conditions.

The variety is intended for cultivation during the cold period, including use in winter greenhouses and tunnels. The hybrid is characterized by a fast growth rate and is adapted for the production of baby leaf products and bunching in the off-season.

The plant has high resistance to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora effusa) races 1–15, 17, 20.
