The plant has an upright habit and forms very dark-colored leaves with a glossy surface. The variety is characterized by very slow development and is intended for use in the fresh produce segment.

The hybrid has high resistance to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora farinosa f. sp. spinaciae), including resistance to races Pfs 1–15.
