Woodduck RZ F1 is an early-maturing oriental type hybrid for the fresh market. The plant is characterized by an upright habit, flexible stem, and dark green oval-shaped leaves with a pointed tip. The stem-to-leaf ratio is 1:3.

The hybrid possesses high resistance to spinach downy mildew (races Pe:1–15, 17, 20) and increased resistance to white rust compared to similar varieties. The crop is adapted to cool conditions and is recommended for cultivation in the open field during the autumn, winter, and spring periods, primarily for bunching.
