The variety is a compact dense shrub 60–80 cm in height and width with red-brown shoots. The oval leaves with a serrated edge have a bronze hue in the spring, turn bright yellow in the summer, and color in tones from cream and pink to deep purple in the autumn.
Flowering occurs from June to August with small white flowers in dense corymbose inflorescences. The plant belongs to winter hardiness zone 4 and withstands temperatures down to -34°C. The crop prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations and well-drained soils, tolerates pruning, and is suitable for container cultivation or hedges.
