The DS-Carmen variety is a rosette plant of the Gesneriaceae family. The flowers of the variety are double, red-burgundy in shade, decorated with bright pink speckles. The leaves of the plant have a glossy surface with smooth or slightly wavy edges.

The plant forms a compact rosette and is distinguished by abundant, prolonged flowering, capable of forming a cap of flowers. The variety is photophilous, prefers diffused light without direct sun exposure, moderate watering, and the absence of moisture stagnation in the root system.
