The Hera variety is an ornamental potted plant with cherry-red flowers. In breeding work, it is used both as an independent hybrid and as a parent form for further crossing.

Plants of this group are distinguished by a high flowering intensity, forming up to 10 peduncles per leaf, each carrying 5 flowers. The average size of the hybrids is 35–40 cm in height. Successful cultivation requires maintaining an optimal humidity regime and the prevention of fungal diseases, such as Phytophthora and Myrothecium.
