The Marleen series is a group of plants forming a rosette of oblong, hairy, dark green leaves. Up to ten flower stalks can develop on a single plant, each bearing up to five flowers.

Plants of the series are distinguished by their resistance to summer heat and the ability to tolerate low temperatures. The crop has a rapid production cycle: 8–10 weeks in the summer period and 10–12 weeks in the winter.

The series is characterized by good transportability and high flowering productivity. The group includes such varieties as Stella, Targa, Rubina, Denim, Spirit, Princesse, Amanda, Bianca, Contessa and Arosa.
