The variety belongs to the hybrid Streptocarpus group and is grown as a decorative plant for living spaces, offices, and winter gardens. The plant forms elongated velvety leaves collected in a basal rosette.

The flowers have the tubular shape typical of the species with five petals and are distinguished by a pronounced red hue. The flowering period continues from spring to autumn.

The plant prefers diffused light or partial shade and requires proper watering without waterlogging to avoid root rots. In some reference materials, the variety may appear under the name Rubina Pink.
