The variety is part of the Olympic series, created during a breeding process that combined the characteristics of English John Innes hybrids and German Wismar hybrids. The primary objectives in its development were to achieve a compact rosette shape and prolific flowering.

The flowers of this variety reach 5–7 cm in diameter, which significantly exceeds the metrics of wild Streptocarpus species. The plant was created as a commercially promising crop for industrial production.
