Variety description

The plant reaches a height and width of about 1.2–1.5 m. The shrub has simple opposite leaves of elliptical shape, dark green or blue-green in color. Small bell-shaped flowers of white or pink shade are collected in terminal racemes; flowering occurs in the period from July to August.

The fruits are large, shiny, bright pink or pink-violet in color, sometimes with a whitish shade on the sunny side. The variety is hardy, adapts to various soil types, including clay and sandy, and is moderately resistant to urban pollution. It prefers sunny places or partial shade and tolerates pruning well.
