The variety is intended for pasture and haymaking use. It is recommended for sowing on saline areas, floodplains, and for cultivation under arid conditions of southern Ukraine on dark chestnut, slightly solonetzic soils.
The variety is characterized as a drought-tolerant perennial grass. It is used in intercropping with other crops, such as Dactylis glomerata and Festuca arundinacea, for feeding sheep.
