The plant is a slow-growing shrub reaching a height of 50–60 cm, rarely up to 1 meter. The branches are densely arranged and directed vertically upwards, forming a compact globular crown. The scale-like needles have a glossy bright green or medium green color, which may acquire brownish or bronze tones during the winter period.
The root system of the shrub is superficial, highly branched, and sensitive to soil compaction. The variety possesses frost resistance (USDA zone 5a) and resistance to urban conditions. Due to sensitivity to snow load during the winter period, it is recommended to tie up the crown with twine to prevent damage to the branches.
