Variety description

The Lake Tahoe variety is part of the "Lake" group and forms large central umbellate inflorescences, supplemented by smaller lateral inflorescences. Plant stem height ranges from 76 to 107 cm.

The plant is an obligate long-day crop, requiring a 16-hour photoperiod to initiate flowering. Greenhouse cultivation and the use of netting to maintain an upright stem position are recommended.

The variety is intended for cultivation on well-drained soils, as waterlogging promotes the development of root diseases. Year-round production is potentially possible, provided the lighting regime is maintained.
