The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant, which is cultivated as an annual in regions with cold winters due to a lack of frost resistance. It forms a dense bush with small leaves and large corymbose umbel-like inflorescences consisting of many small flowers of lilac or bluish-purple color.

The main purpose is decorative use: the variety is suitable for cutting due to its long vase life, as well as for growing in containers and garden landscaping. The plant requires good drainage, as water stagnation can provoke the development of root rots.
