The inflorescences of the «Esm Ton» variety are characterized by a bright green color, which distinguishes it from other varieties having blue, purple, or pink shades. When used as a cut flower, the plant remains fresh in a vase for up to two weeks if cut at the stage where about a quarter of the flowers have opened.

The plant is sensitive to fungal diseases, such as grey mold and Sclerotinia, which requires preventive measures under high humidity. An excess of manganese manifests as dark red spots on the leaves, and plant height is regulated by the moisture level of the substrate.
