The variety is an annual thermophilic plant with an energetic growth type, forming dense and tall stands. It possesses a deep taproot system that contributes to soil loosening. In temperate climates, it winterkills, which simplifies soil cultivation when used as green manure.

The plant is valued for its good palatability for livestock and high dry matter yield, ranging from 30 to 40 dt/ha. The variety is suitable for cultivation in mixtures with annual ryegrasses or alfalfa. It is used for nitrogen fixation and weed suppression, demonstrating an excellent ability to regrow after mowing.
