The variety has a diploid chromosome set, in which the 5S and 26S rDNA loci are located on different chromosomes separately from each other. This feature distinguishes it from a number of other ecotypes and populations of the species, which may exhibit polyploid properties.
During breeding research on isoflavonoid content, the variety was compared with other populations of the species. It was established that it possesses typical characteristics for the accumulation of these substances in the leaves, while in terms of the leaf mass ratio, the variety is similar to the Melot variety.
