The variety is tetraploid (4n). It was obtained through selection from the material of the diploid varieties Pavo and Merula, subjected to colchicine treatment.

The plant is distinguished by vigorous development after sowing and high persistence, which allows it to maintain productivity in the second year of use. The variety forms a dense stand, effectively suppresses weeds, and ensures an even distribution of yield across cuts.

The variety shows high resistance to anthracnose, powdery mildew, and clover rot. Lodging susceptibility is rated at 7 points. Intended for use in forage production for green mass and hay.
