The Pavlyna variety was created by specialists at the Ternopil State Agricultural Experimental Station of the Institute of Fodder and Agriculture of Podillia of the NAAS of Ukraine. The plant is characterized by increased resistance to negative climatic changes compared to local varieties of the previous period.

In clover-grass mixtures, the variety demonstrates specific indicators of the preservation of the legume component in agrophytocenoses. Studies show that in the third year of use, the participation rate of the Pavlyna variety in the herbage stands at 16.0–16.8%.
