Plants of the Skriveru Tetra variety reach a height of 110 cm and are characterized by large inflorescences, which sometimes visually resemble double heads. The variety is distinguished by high nutritional value and dry matter yields of up to 12 tons per hectare.

The variety possesses good winter hardiness and resistance to Sclerotinia, while it may show susceptibility to powdery mildew. It maintains productivity for 2–3 years of use.

The primary purpose of the variety is forage production. The first cut is suitable for harvesting hay or haylage, and the regrowth is used for livestock grazing. The variety is suitable for cultivation under organic farming conditions.
